Functional Medicine in Los Angeles for Patients Tired of “Normal” Labs
If you’re dealing with bloating, acid reflux, abdominal discomfort, fatigue, or hormone imbalance—but your labs keep coming back normal—you’re not alone. We help uncover root causes and create a clear plan forward.
About Us
As a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in urgent and emergency care, I’ve treated countless patients with recurring symptoms—but no clear answers.
At one point, I became one of those patients.
I used to believe that if you live a healthy, active lifestyle, your body will take care of itself. And like many people—especially in healthcare—I was focused on taking care of others. When it came to my own health, I told myself to wait it out.
Until I couldn’t anymore.
It started with recurring abdominal discomfort, acid reflux, and unexplained pain.
Nothing severe at first—just enough to notice, not enough to stop my routine.
So I ignored it.
I didn’t want to overreact.
I didn’t think I needed to get checked.
But the symptoms kept coming back.
Then one moment changed everything.
I was in Lake Tahoe for a long-planned New Year’s Eve trip—something I had been looking forward to. But instead of enjoying the night, I was dealing with worsening abdominal pain. I made the decision to leave early and went back to Los Angeles.
I missed New Year’s Eve. Instead, I spent the night in the emergency room.
After hours of waiting and testing — blood work was normal. Imaging was normal. I was told everything was ‘normal.’ I was discharged at 3 AM—without clear answers.
And that’s where most people stop. I went home thinking maybe it was nothing.
So I did what many high-functioning, busy people do:
👉 I ignored it again
👉 I pushed through
👉 I went back to taking care of everyone else
But the symptoms didn’t stop. They came back—again and again. Until eventually, the discomfort escalated into chest pain. Now it wasn’t just inconvenient. It was scary.
And I found myself asking the same question many patients ask — If everything is normal… why do I still feel this way?
Here’s The Truth:
Just because your labs are normal doesn’t mean your body is functioning optimally
And ignoring symptoms doesn’t make them go away—it delays real answers
As healthcare providers, caregivers, and high-performing individuals, we’re used to pushing through.
We take care of everyone else.
We wait.
We tell ourselves it’s nothing.
But that delay comes at a cost.
I don’t want you to make the same mistake I did.
Don’t wait until your symptoms get worse.
Don’t wait until it becomes a health scare.
And don’t ignore what your body is trying to tell you.
Why I Built This Practice
That experience changed how I approach care completely.
It’s why I created Razal HealthFirst Wellness Hub—to help patients uncover root causes, connect patterns, and finally get clarity.
Because you deserve more than:
❌ “Everything looks normal”
❌ Temporary fixes
❌ Being told to wait it out
You deserve answers.
You deserve a plan.
And you deserve to feel like yourself again.
Stop Waiting. Start Getting Answers.
